Staying at Hacarmel for our family vacation was a mixed bag. The location in the Carmel Market was definitely advantageous—perfect for walking to nearby tours. Though the market was mostly closed during our stay, we enjoyed discovering a favorite restaurant nearby. Our kids loved the pull-out sofa bed, which added a nice touch to the apartment. It’s important to note that the apartment appeared in the photos as newly renovated, but in reality, it bore signs of wear. Despite the place being decently equipped, we faced issues with cleanliness, which we hoped would be addressed. The check-in process was smoother during our second visit, a welcome improvement from our first arrival. While our overall experience had its ups and downs, Hacarmel certainly provided a convenient base for family adventures—just make sure to manage your expectations around upkeep.
